In terms of wedding coordination there are two key packages: one which just includes the castle; and one which includes staff to help you run your entire day.

However most people go for the tower’s Laigh Hall, which can seat a maximum of 60 people.
It comes complete with a vaulted ceiling, and provides a rustic medieval theme.
As you can imagine this space does not get much natural light, so it’s the perfect room to create a romantic candle lit atmosphere.
Neidpath Castle Reception
After your ceremony, your guests will be taken to the Great Hall for your reception.
This is a relatively more modern room with panelled walls, a roaring fire, and batiks depicting the life of Mary Queen of Scots.
It too can seat a maximum of 60 people.
Depending on the wedding package you choose; tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, and glassware can be included.
It’s also possible to use the Laigh Hall for your dinner reception, leaving the Great Hall free for your drinks reception.

Again depending on the wedding package you choose the catering can be handled for you, or you can organise this yourself.
Cooks & Co are who Neidpath Castle normally use, and they are very experienced at working at the venue.
There are onsite kitchen facilities too.
Bar facilities can be provided, with the Guard’s Room acting as the perfect pop up pub.
And your guest will be able to pay by cash and card.
If you would like to bring your own booze, this is also possible for a corkage fee of £5 per bottle.
Neidpath Castle Entertainment
Once your dinner reception is complete and it’s time for your first dance, the Laigh Hall can be transformed into a great dance floor.
Surprisingly you can fit as many as 150 guests in this space for a ceilidh.
Fireworks displays are permitted, which is always a nice way to end the evening.
And although midnight is when your hire package ends, you can extend this for £80 per hour.
