The Coach House At Kinross House was built in 1680, and it’s actually older than the mansion itself.

Steeped in history, the enchanting stone building underwent a full refurbishment program in 2015, and was redesigned with weddings very much in mind.

It has a wonderful double height Hall with intricately painted ceiling, and a tartan Library complete with bar.

The standout feature though is the courtyard, which can be used for ceremonies, receptions, or just as a place to enjoy the outdoors.

Also worth mentioning is that the interiors were designed by Mikhail Pietranek, who is a Royal Warrant Holder.

You will have the option of both an indoor and an outdoor ceremony at The Coach House At Kinross House.

The Hall makes a wonderful indoor choice, with its capacity for up to 90 seated guests.

You can get married in front of the stone fireplace and under the beautifully painted ceiling, which features golden rings around a Scottish thistle signifying “tying the knot”.

This room also has retractable glass doors which open out onto the courtyard.

Your outdoor option is the beautiful walled garden, which assuming the weather is kind could be fantastic.

A marquee in the grounds is also possible.

You can also have your dinner reception in the Hall, assuming you only want to seat 60 guests.

Or if you are feeling really brave, tables and chairs can be placed outside in the courtyard.

Most people go for a marquee however, which can either be setup in the courtyard (capacity 100 people) or on the grass area immediately in front of Kinross Coach House (capacity 250 people).

The site is fitted with access points for water and electricity.

And by using a marquee, you will free up the Hall for your drinks reception and for your dance floor.

Of course if the weather is nice, the courtyard would be ideal for your drinks reception too.

Worth also mentioning is that the Library bar is a great spot for your guests to relax with a drink in a more intimate space.
