Completed in Spring 2017 Guardswell Farm is a newly converted steading, and one of the most interesting barn wedding venues in Scotland.
The original agricultural buildings have been given a modern makeover, whilst still retaining their historic features.
And can now be used to host wedding ceremonies and receptions.
In addition to the versatile function spaces, there is also a range of accommodation including a beautiful farmhouse for the bridal party.
Let’s take a closer look at what a Guardswell Farm wedding would be like.
Guardswell Farm Location
Guardswell Farm is in a great location, right between Perth and Dundee.
With the exception of Inverness, every Scottish city can be driven from in less than 90 minutes.
And Perth and Dundee can be managed in approximately 20 minutes.
When you arrive you will find plenty of onsite parking for your guests.
However if you want to put on transportation, the maximum coach size which can make it up the twisty drive is a 29 seater.
There are some great barn wedding venues in Perth and Kinross, with Guardswell being the newest addition and definitely worth your consideration.

The owners of Guardswell Farm have tried to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Spectacular panoramic views definitely add to the tranquility, and the rolling Scottish countryside will encourage you to spend time outdoors.
Only one wedding is hosted per weekend, and assuming you also take the accommodation then this is an exclusive use wedding venue.
You will also get access the day before your wedding to setup, and the day after your wedding to remove everything.
If you are looking for a rustic country setting, then this place is going to be ideal.
Guardswell Farm

As the farming landscape changed in Scotland, the steading at Guardswell Farm became unsuitable for modern agriculture.
Fortunately though the owners were able to adapt, and give it a new lease of life as an events space.
Ideally for creative types and DIY weddings, the buildings have been given a comprehensive makeover retaining their character but adding modern Scandinavian influences.
Original stone walls are now complimented by large glass windows, and with the property facing south the rooms are flooded with natural light.
The main spaces on offer are the Cattle Court, Granary, and Catering Kitchen.
And there are also male and female toilets.
