Fingask Castle is one of the most popular castle wedding venues in Scotland.
And when you see what it has to offer, it’s easy to understand why.
You can have your ceremony and reception either in the historic castle, or in the modern pavilion.
Plus there’s the possibility of getting married alfresco in the beautiful gardens.
In addition to this the estate has accommodation for up to 60 guests, not including the 3 bedroom Bridal Suite in the old keep.
Let’s take a closer look at what a Fingask Castle wedding would be like.
Fingask Castle Location
There is some beautiful countryside in Perthshire, which makes for some scenic wedding venues in Perth and Kinross.
Fingask Castle is located very conveniently between Dundee and Perth, and can be driven from both cities in less than 25 minutes.
Edinburgh is only fractionally over an hour away too.
When you arrive you will find plenty of onsite parking for your guests.
And there are even coach drop off bays, if you would like to put on bus transportation.
Fingask Castle Setting

Fingask Castle is considered to be an exclusive use wedding venue, although it is possible that cottages dotted around the grounds could have people in them.
The estate is over 100 acres though, so this is not likely to interfere with your privacy.
You’ll definitely be hoping for nice weather on your wedding day, as the grounds are fantastic with beautiful gardens and nice woodlands.
Your guests will be able to enjoy little walks in this tranquil part of Scotland, with stunning views to be enjoyed in all directions.
It’s without question a lovely setting for a wedding.
Fingask Castle

The oldest parts of Fingask Castle date back to the 16th century.
And over the years both King James VIII and Bonny Prince Charlie have come to visit.
Today it still functions as a family home, as well as playing host to numerous weddings.
In addition to the historical buildings, the estate also has a games room complete with snooker table, an outdoor heated swimming pool, and a tennis court.
Combine all this with the modern pavilion, and you have a huge amount of versatility on offer.
Access can be granted the day before for setting up, providing there is no other event on.
And personal items must be removed the following day, although they can store them for you.
Included in your wedding package is a dedicated events manager, who will be present all day to make sure things run smoothly.
